Job Description

rMark Bio is looking for a Data Entry Specialist who will be responsible for manually verifying and updating various health professional data records using standard research methods. The Data Entry Specialist will help to improve our core data by ensuring all incoming data fits a consistent format using guidance from the data science and product teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Internet research 
  • Outbound calls if necessary 
  • Applying newly verified data elements to core database records 
  • Ensuring that new entries are not duplications of existing core data 
  • Ongoing maintenance of core data for Healthcare providers (HCP’s) and Healthcare Organizations (HCO’s) 
  • Documentation of actions taken and required notation

Experience and Qualifications

  • Ability to execute detailed instructions and ensure data entries are consistent and fit a standardized format 
  • Ability to recognize and resolve issues such that the data format can be maintained (understanding how breaking the format would make the data unusable) 
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and focus on quality 
  • Strong data entry skills – i.e. effectively balancing speed and accuracy (some people just have both) 
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Aptitude to learn new systems/processes 
  • Proficiency in Windows, Google apps, MS Office and other office software

  • Experience with healthcare, customer data, life science industries, sales or market research is preferred
  • Interest in health care, health tech, life science, and data science (and how they intersect…that’s what we do after all).
